Arts Connect International NEA Funding Update

Arts Connect International is among hundreds recently notified by the National Endowment for the Arts that a grant we had received was rescinded.

$35K in funds were awarded to research the impacts of the Cultural Equity Learning Community, which has engaged and paid 50+ artists and arts leaders in the making of educational experiences to train 3,000+ arts and culture leaders, artists, educators, and administrators in creative justice.

While we are devastated by the loss of these critical funds, we remain committed to supporting cultural leaders across Greater Boston through our programming.

Through our collective action, we continue to be a resource for artists and the wider creative economy in a time where community building and connection is more important than ever.

Here’s how you can help us continue to dream and vision for our future of this work:

Make a donation in support of our birthday celebration as #ACITurns10 next week
✨ Share this blog with your community to help us get the word out about our work
✨ Attend a future event to get to know us better and how you might get involved

We remain thankful to our current grantors and financial partners who have helped us thrive over the last decade.

We will continue to adapt in this changing environment and thank you for being a part of our journey!
