leveraging art as a platform to discuss inclusion

hosted at: Harvard University, Babson College, Tufts University, Lesley University, the University of Massachusetts Boston, Boston Arts Academy and Boston College

In November 2016 ACI’s Artist Leaders convened in Boston to co-create and share their work from their respective residencies in South Korea, Ghana, Nigeria, Mexico, Rwanda and the USA. Artists presented both their work and narratives as social change warriors using art for inclusion. Formats for each talk ranged slightly, but the core amongst the presentations lied in using art for social change and leveraging art as a tool for conversations on building inclusive practices nationally and internationally. The conversations also included arts performances and installations at the University of Massachusetts Boston, as well as course visits at their School for Global Inclusion and Social Development. Presentations spanned: Harvard University, Babson College, Tufts University, Lesley University, UMass Boston, Boston Arts Academy and Boston College.
